**Job Opportunity**
We are seeking an experienced APS5 Project Officer to join our Government Relations team on a 12-month assignment.
The role will involve:
* Assisting in project management and coordination activities
* Contributing to the development and management of project plans and schedules
* Providing advice, procedural guidance and expertise in specific areas of project work
* Performing research and analysis contributing to the preparation of reports on project activities
* Drafting a range of written materials including business cases, plans, executive briefs and corporate documentation
* Collaborating with team members to achieve project outcomes
To be successful in this role you will require:
* Experience within a similar role
* Strong experience working independently or with limited guidance
* Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders on project, policy or operational issues
* Previous experience drafting briefing papers and other corporate documentation
* Strong communication skills
