We are currently seeking a proactive and motivated Junior Accountant for a full-time role in our Finance Team, working at our vibrant Geelong head office.

Your New Role! The Junior Accountant will join our growing Finance Team and will take ownership of the preparation of financial statements, month-end reconciliations, daily accounting tasks (both AR & AP), cash flow management, debtor collection and compliance reporting. The position will also provide back-up coverage for Finance Team tasks that are delivered by one staff member, mitigating contingency risk, and will have a significant focus on the internal financial workings of the organisation.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
A degree qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field (or nearing completion) Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting An in-depth understanding of basic accounting principles Intermediate proficiency in the MS suite, particularly Microsoft Excel Experience working with accounting software, such as Xero (desirable) Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Experience managing competing demands and prioritising tasks to achieve set deadlines A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a keen interest in professional growth and learning new skills A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) A current Working with Children Check Employee card (or willingness to obtain) Evidence of at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccination To Apply: For a confidential discussion about this opportunity, please contact Susan Mitchell (Financial Controller) on 03 5222 3911 or Rachael Fraatz (People & Culture Business Partner) on 0438 971 118.
