About The Role
An exciting opportunity for someone with experience in sales administration or customer service to join a market leader in the rural industry. This role serves as the hub between our sales teams on the road, dispatch centres, and various depots across ANZ, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service delivery. Key responsibilities include:
1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, becoming the first point of contact for inquiries and providing exceptional service via email and phone.
2. Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders including sales, warehouse, and dispatch teams to manage inventory levels, transportation, and distribution across Australia, focusing on rural areas.
3. Handle credit approvals, disputes, and reconciliation in line with company policies.
4. Serve as the primary contact for rural distributors, offering support and fostering long-term relationships.
5. Provide accurate quotes and address customer queries, converting them into sales opportunities where possible.
6. Oversee the end-to-end order fulfilment process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in line with customer expectations.
7. Address customer complaints promptly, using our quality management system and working with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
8. Continuously seek ways to improve the customer experience and enhance the total value proposition.
9. Collaborate closely with sales team members on the road, providing necessary information and resources to support their success.
About
We are seeking a team player capable of managing competing priorities. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service. Ideal skills and experience include:
1. Previous experience in sales administration, customer service, or logistics.
2. Ability to build relationships with customers and resolve issues effectively.
3. Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy and efficiency.
4. Experience in wholesale, logistics, or physical goods distribution is advantageous.
5. Knowledge of agricultural and rural products is highly regarded.
6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
7. Experience with Salesforce or other CRMs is highly regarded.
8. Experience with SAP ERP is desirable.
