Silverstone are seeking experienced Underground Electricians to support our gold mining clients across Western Australia.
* Maintenance, fault-finding and installation of underground reticulation (1000V/415V), substations, switchboards, RMUs, motors, VSDs, lighting, dewatering and ventilation systems
* Preventative and breakdown maintenance on underground mobile equipment including jumbos, production & diamond drills and loaders
* Installation, testing and maintenance of RCT teleremote systems
* HV/LV switching, statutory testing (RCDs, earth leakage) and compliance with AS/NZS standards
* Maintaining electrical schematics, logs and maintenance records
What we're looking for:
* WA Unrestricted Electrical Licence
* Underground mining electrical experience
* Current Manual C Class WA Driver's Licence
* LVR / CPR certification
* Strong fault-finding and schematic interpretation skills
* Desirable - HV Switching, RCT training, Instrumentation
* Full Australian working rights
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and National Police Clearance
