We are seeking a skilled Systems Technician to join a high-performing operations team in BRISBANE delivering critical communications and electromechanical systems across transport, government, commercial, and remote environments. What You'll Be Doing As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for: Installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of communications and electromechanical systems Working with public address (PA), audio visual, emergency warning, hearing augmentation (AFILs), IT and radio systems Troubleshooting complex technical issues across field-based environments Interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and documentation Providing technical support and training when required Ensuring all documentation and records are completed accurately and professionally Maintaining compliance with safety standards, policies and procedures Protecting tools and equipment to ensure reliability and serviceability Working flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends and on-call as required What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who brings both technical capability and the right attitude. Essential: Certificate III or IV in Electronics, Communications, or equivalent trade qualification Proven experience in PA systems installation and servicing Strong understanding of signal flow (audio, video and control), networking fundamentals and structured cabling best practices Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation Experience with PA equipment brands such as Bosch, QSC or similar Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Valid driver's license A proactive, "can-do" mindset and willingness to learn new technologies Highly regarded: White Card (Construction Induction) EWP (Elevated Work Platform) certification Why Join this team?
