3 days practice based 2 days working in aged care in Melbourne
After 12 months can do 5 days in central Melbourne
GP will work 3 days at the practice which is less than 40 mins from the North Melbourne suburbs and then spend 2 days working in Central Melbourne in Aged Care.
After 12 months you can continue this or choose up to 5 days doing Aged Care in Melbourne.
The Role
Due to substantial growth within the Aged Care sector there are several opportunities for General Practitioners to join this company to provide full time care via elderly care facility home visits.
This role will give you the freedom to hit the road and see your patients.
Quality of care, high standards and continuity of care are at the forefront for this service.
You will look after your own patient base building a rapport and relationship with them.
You will be covering normal consultations, scripts, Care Plans and Dementia care, assistance from a nurse when required is arranged and you will see approximately ***** patients per day under visiting 1-2 care homes per day.
Working hours are flexible through Monday to Friday and your appointments with each facility can be arranged directly between you and them.
The service arranges fortnightly clinical meetings for the doctors and they ensure that there are regular social events to make you feel part of the team.
Full training, induction and ongoing support will be provided.
