Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner Job
About the Role:
Relationships Australia Tasmania is seeking a qualified and registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner to join their team. The primary purpose of this role is to provide Family Dispute Resolution services to couples and families who are separating or separated.
The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in social sciences, psychology or law, and relevant experience in working with families with complex needs. They will also have highly developed negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as professionalism and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide Family Dispute Resolution services to couples and families who are separating or separated.
* Negotiate parenting and/or property arrangements, and assist families to focus on the best interests of children and young people throughout any ongoing family conflict.
* Work with families to develop strategies to manage conflict and improve communication.
* Collaborate with other professionals, such as lawyers and psychologists, to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in social sciences, psychology or law.
* Relevant experience in working with families with complex needs.
* Highly developed negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Professionalism and a strong work ethic.
* Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals.
