About the role
CareRite Australia is a dedicated home and community care provider committed to delivering high-quality support services to individuals in need. We are experiencing continuous growth and are seeking qualified and experienced Support Workers to join our team in Broome, Western Australia.
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Full time Support Workers to provide essential care and support to our clients in their homes and community settings. This role offers opportunities for professional development and increased hours as our client base continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care assistance including bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming
* Administer medications as required and in accordance with protocols
* Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary requirements
* Assist with domestic tasks including cleaning, laundry, and shopping
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
* Transport clients to appointments, social activities, and community events
* Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or wellbeing to management
* Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
* Support clients' independence and participation in community activities
* Assist with mobility and perform manual handling tasks safely
Skills and Attributes
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Demonstrated empathy, resilience, and compassion in working with vulnerable individuals.
* Physical capability to perform manual handling, lifting, and mobility assistance
* Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
* Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
Qualification & Experience
* Certificate III higher qualification in a relevant area (Disability/Mental Health/Community Services/Individual Support)
* Minimum one-year relevant work experience
* Valid Driver's licence
* First Aid and CPR certification (preferable)
Job Type: Permanent Full-time
Pay: 70,000-80,000 Annual (plus Superannuation)
Schedule : Minimum 38 hours per week
Work Location : Broome, Western Australia
