You’ll provide clear and compassionate leadership while driving best practice in safety, security and rehabilitation. Working closely with Government partners and community groups, your role will help shape a more positive future for those in custody and the teams who support them. As the General Manager in the Justice team, you’ll make a positive impact by:Leading and inspiring a high-performing multidisciplinary teamManaging contract performance and maintaining full complianceEnsuring safety, security and rehabilitation programs are prioritisedDeveloping and maintaining strong stakeholder and community relationsOverseeing financial performance and resource allocationPromoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning
Serco is a place for youYou could be a great fit if you have:Senior management experience in corrections, immigration, or similar settingsStrong understanding of correctional operations, legislation and best practiceProven ability to lead with integrity, empathy and inclusive leadershipExperience developing others with a focus on building capable, confident teamsHigh-level commercial and contractual acumen with strong planning skillsA degree in criminology, psychology, management or relevant field (or equivalent experience)
