The Opportunity:
Come and join our team
We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker to support our client located in Trafalgar.
You will be responsible for supporting a customer with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life.
Each day may look a little different but your work will be centred around the following:
Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
Providing support with hygiene and personal care
Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
Assistance with bowel care
To be successful in this role you will have:
At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
Experience with manual handling or physical disabilities
A valid Australian Drivers License (minimum P2)
What shifts are we offering?
Monday - 9:45am - 1:45pm
Tuesday - 12pm - 4pm
Wednesday - 12pm - 4pm
Thursday - 12pm - 4pm
Saturday - 9am - 1pm
+ Potential for shifts in the area with other clients
