To feel like royalty in a unique place with unique people.We are seeking a driven, dynamic and experienced professional with a passion for the hospitality industry.Identify and pursue new business opportunities and increase sales for Thornbury Castle HotelDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targetsSupport Hotel service and strategy by regularly updating action plans and financial objectivesAttend industry events to promote the hotel and generate leadsMonitor market trends and competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordinglyWork closely with the Hotel Manager and Management Company to ensure all strategies and campaigns meet the needs of the businessManage and motivate the Sales and Events team, supporting them in achieving sales targets, handling calls and enquiries and producing event proposalsDevelop and build relationships with new and existing customers to enable future bookings, through sales calls, FAM trips, industry events etcIdentify marketing opportunities and coordinate with the marketing team to create promotional materialReportsMinimum Requirements:A minimum of 3 years of experience working in hotel events/salesA proven track record of achieving sales targetsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent negotiation skillsAbility to be a strong team member and leaderOn-site work with the availability to travel and be flexible with working hours according to business needsBenefits:An additional share of service charge and tips every month28-day holiday including bank holidays (pro rata)Additional paid day off on your birthdayComplimentary stay at the castle after 3 months’ probation period successfully passedTraining programmes via internal & external professionals and access to online training facilitiesStaff and family rates on hotel accommodation and discounts on food and beverageRecognition programmesMeals whilst on site duty and free parkingSalary up to £35,000/year
