Job Title: Youth Justice and Education Social Worker
Join a team that makes a difference in the lives of young people. We are seeking an experienced social worker to work with children and young people aged 10 to 17 years who have been involved in the youth justice system.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that works towards breaking the cycle of disadvantage and supporting young people to re-engage with education.
The role involves working with schools, families and other agencies to provide support and guidance to young people who are at risk of disengaging from education.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing individualized support to young people who have been involved in the youth justice system.
* Working closely with schools and families to develop and implement plans to support young people's educational outcomes.
* Collaborating with other agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting young people.
Required Qualifications:
An appropriate degree or equivalent which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.

Special Conditions:
The successful applicant will be required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check prior to being employed.
Remuneration:
AHP2 $88,255 - $102,240 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%).
