Your new company
Our client is a trusted community organisation dedicated to supporting people experiencing housing insecurity and homelessness across Central Queensland. Through their Housing and Homelessness department in Gladstone, they provide practical, person‑centred support including crisis assistance, access to safe and stable housing, and pathways to long-term independence. Working closely with individuals, families, and local services, the team addresses immediate needs while tackling the underlying causes of homelessness with dignity and compassion.
Your new role
* Completing accurate and timely case notes using computer systems and client management databases
* Managing a caseload of approximately 10-15 clients
* Conducting weekly one‑hour client visits, both in the office and community settings
* Referring clients to appropriate internal and external support services
* Supporting clients to maintain and sustain stable accommodation
* Developing and reviewing individual support and housing plans
* Advocating on behalf of clients with housing providers and support agencies
* Monitoring client progress and adjusting support as required
* Maintaining confidential records in line with organisational policies
What you'll need to succeed
* Demonstrated confidence in using technology and digital systems
* Prior experience in an administrative or office‑based role
* Minimum Certificate IV qualification in a relevant field (community services highly regarded)
* Ability to provide current, contactable professional references
* Residency within the Gladstone region or strong local connection
