Your recent role
There is an opportunity of an established security professional who will be responsible for leading the planning, implementation and evaluation of security system. Build productive relationships, cultivating and managing a range of relationships and key strategic partnerships with internal Stakeholders such as DC Manager and Program manager as well as customer and third party consultants adhering to clients values.
The role would cover:
Provide a secure environment for company/customer assets - using up to date technology to monitor and control personnel access to sites, monitor and recording of inventory, management of onsite guards.
Ensure rapid response to any incident - using up to date sensors and alarm systems. Management of monitoring company to ensure that business response requirements are adhered to.
Oversee the management of alarm systems, site security which is managed using the latest techniques for preventing entry to sites when unoccupied.
Ensure compliance to the Customers Security requirements and undertake regular review and management of the issues/compliance
Provide the business with an effective security solution to ensure that only authorised personnel have access to facilities.
Maintain and promote the WHS policies, procedures and systems
Participate fully in WHS audits and investigations as required
What we need from you
Minimum Diploma in Security & Risk Management required and qualifications and/or experience in health and safety is desirable
A Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related area of study is an advantage and preferred
Essential to hold a valid and maintain 1AC/2A NSW Security License and NSW Drivers License.
Demonstrated experience working in a security operations management role for min 5 years in logistics or warehousing
Demonstrated experience in security systems, e.g. guard force, access control etc
Excellent communication skills and demonstrated experience in developing and mentoring teams for high performance
