Focus Finance is a fast-growing mortgage brokerage with a national client base and a sharp focus on investor lending, self-employed clients, and complex lending strategies. We’re known for delivering smart, tailored outcomes and doing it with speed, clarity, and structure.
We’re also a tech-savvy, AI-forward business, already launching advanced internal systems to reduce admin, automate workflows, and scale sustainably. As we grow, we’re looking for a senior operator to take what we’re building and turn it into a finely tuned machine — without killing the vibe in the process.
About the Role
This isn’t a role for someone who wants to tick boxes or manage by checklists. It’s for someone who wants to design the structure, use their imagination to solve problems, build the system, and lead a team to deliver consistently without a narrow corporate lens .
The real work happens upstream. KPIs tell you what went right or wrong — the process tells you why. We need someone who focuses their energy where it actually makes a difference.
You’ll work directly with the Managing Director to implement strategic workflows, enhance the team, drive automation, and create solutions at the source. This is a big role with real impact — and we won’t sugar-coat it. The expectations are high and the work is complex, your multi-tasking skills need to be next level. But the upside? You’ll be a key part of building something truly scalable, smart, and industry-leading.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring consistent, high-quality output across teams/projects
Manage and assist a team with clarity, accountability, and structure
Build operational funnels and workflows that reduce rework and eliminate inefficiencies
Drive the integration of automation and AI tools to streamline admin and compliance and efficiency
Create solutions at the root cause and redesign processes to prevent recurrence
Oversee compliance and internal controls across client files and service delivery
Work closely with the Managing Director on strategic projects, reporting, and scaling plans (always something cooking here)

About You
