Your new role
In this customer‑service‑focused role, you’ll be a key point of contact for a wide range of trade customers including roofers, plumbers, home‑improvement specialists and cash‑sale customers. Every day is different, with a mix of admin, coordination and customer interaction.Your responsibilities will include:
* Keying and managing customer orders received through the inbox
* Answering customer phone calls and assisting with quotes, queries and product information
* Liaising closely with production and transport teams to ensure deadlines are met
* Following up on quotations and inquiries to convert these into sales opportunities
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders (marketing, warehouse, sales) to ensure customer expectations are met — including product specifications, special packaging and delivery timetables
* Nurturing and growing customer relationships to uncover new business opportunities
* Looking for new ways to enhance the customer experience and improve processes
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
* Previous experience in a customer service environment
* High attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively
* A strong customer focus and the ability to resolve issues efficiently
* A willingness to grow, learn and develop
* Confident computer literacy, including MS Office
