We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Perth Airport. As a key member of our global brand, you will be responsible for planning and directing food preparation in our kitchen, supervising staff, and ensuring operational efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
 * Menu Planning and Food Preparation: Organize and direct your area, ensuring proper staffing and execution, ordering food and equipment daily to meet production needs.
 * Leadership and Training: Provide leadership and on-the-job training to junior staff members, executing and supervising food production, packing, and tray-setting activities.
 * Quality Control and Management: Prepare complex meals or dishes according to specifications, monitor KPI compliance, including recipe specifications, manage labour, food costs, and shrinkage to budget.
 * Innovation and Development: Contribute to the development of new food products and menus.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
 * Experience: Demonstrated success in a similar position, trade-qualified Chef with at least 2 years' experience in high-volume food production.
 * Skills and Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of HACCP, QSAI, and Food Safety, prior experience in airline catering, service-oriented environments, and team leadership, knowledge of HALAL working practices and segregation/separation of equipment.
 * Soft Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications.
