**About Your Role**
This is an exciting opportunity for a Trainer and Assessor to join our team. You will be responsible to provide support to all aspects of training, assessment, development and delivery within the Thales Ordnance Training Centre (TOTC) a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Australia-wide. The Thales Ordnance Training Centre (TOTC) provides workplace training and assessment in-line with national standards to both EO Services and other industry partners. TOTC works primarily remotely with fly-in / fly-out to support training and assessment within the workplace, so you will need to be a self-starter and highly disciplined. While working at TOTC you will be exposed to the full range of courses from Certificate II in Explosives to the Graduate Certificate in Explosives. Regular regional & interstate travel will be required with a possibility of international to support overseas contracts. This role can be based anywhere in Australia.

**Qualifications**
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or ability to achieve.
**Essential Experience**
- High level of experience in the storage, distribution and maintenance of explosive ordnance within the Defence inventory system.
- Vocational experience in the Defence Training Package EO competencies or the ability to acquire; or
- Vocational experience in the Transport and Logistics Training Package competencies or the ability to acquire.
- Demonstrated practical experience in the EO logistics / technical domain.
- Knowledge of the VET Quality Framework.
- Moderate skill levels in MS Office products.
**Desirable Experience**
- Knowledge of the Defence inventory management system (COMSARM).
- eLearning development experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels within an organisation.
- Well-developed organisational skills.
- Excellent numeric, literacy, interpersonal and comprehension skills.
