The radiation therapy facility unit is fully equipped with TrueBeam Varian Linacs, 4D CT scanner, Eclipse, HyperSight, AlignRT, ARIA, VMAT, and Stereotactic Radiotherapy. There is also a HDR and Seed Brachytherapy program and an SXR unit. Alfred Health Radiation Oncology is associated with Monash University in research and teaching activities and has active accredited training programs in the Radiation Oncology professions at Latrobe Regional Hospital, including an accredited registrar training position.About The RoleThe Radiation Oncology department invites applications for 2 x 0.2 EFT (7.6 hours per week) one starting immediately and the other on 01/07/2025.Qualifications And ExperienceAppointees must be legally qualified medical practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without conditions, undertakings or reprimands that could impact on their clinical practice.Fellowship of the Faculty of Radiation Oncology, Royal Australian and New Zealand College of RadiologistsDemonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Radiation OncologyMeets Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Radiation OncologyExperience in teaching and an involvement in research are essential.Enquiries: A/Prof Hany Elsaleh on 03 9076 5871Applications close: Friday, 16th May 2025Alfred Health is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to attracting and retaining a diverse workforce that reflects the community we serve.
