Change Managers coordinate activities and communication in order to ensure project objectives are met and sustained. They focus on the people aspect of change including changes to business processes, tools and technology, job roles and organisation structures.
Key duties and responsibilities
The Services, delivered in collaboration with and under supervision by nominated personnel, include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Work collaboratively with stakeholders in planning, developing and executing change initiatives across the Org.
* Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies;
* Develop and implement communications strategies and methods to deliver sustainable results;
* Develop change management plan based on business demand, challenges and implications. The change management plans including communications, trainings, stakeholder engagement, and impact analysis;
* Develop training and delivery to stakeholders;
* Evaluate project plans and identify change initiatives required for successful project execution;
* Deliver specific risk treatment plan to mitigate business risks and concerns;
* Perform change readiness assessment to determine feasibility of implementation and present the results to business units;
* Monitor and report the business readiness, adoption, benefits realisation and utilisation of change initiatives;
* Identify performance gaps and provide corrective actions;
* Provide information and assistance to business units in executing the change initiatives through a variety of channels;
* Provide and implement communications strategies through Digital Adoption software solutions;
* Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels to drive change adoption;
* Assess change impacts, readiness, and risks, developing mitigation strategies;
* Provide expert advice on change management best practices and methodologies;
* Drive the execution of communication, training, and engagement plans;
* Align multiple concurrent change initiatives with organisational priorities;
* Act as primary contact to address any issues and queries on change management and training activities;
* Collaborate with project teams, executives, and business units to ensure smooth transitions;
* Monitor, track, and report on change management effectiveness and adoption;
* Support employees in navigating business and technology transformation;
* Work effectively in a project team environment and with stakeholders in a sensitive operational domain;
* Provide knowledge/skills transfer to other team members; and
* Record and maintain files/information in accordance with the requirements.

Technical skills
* Technical skills including but not limited to:
* Experienced IT Change Manager with a proven track record of leading large-scale technology and organisational change initiatives within complex environments. You thrive in dynamic settings and excel at engaging stakeholders.
* Deep expertise in change management frameworks and a hands-on approach, you bring the ability to develop tailored strategies while ensuring practicality and effectiveness.
* Experience within large and complex IT environment

Pay: $120.00 – $174,780.68 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Canberra ACT
