McArthur are currently seeking applications for the role of APS5 Recruitment Advisor, to work with our government client.
This will be a non-ongoing role for up to months.
As part of this role, your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Manage and support the implementation of strategies to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, and APS and departmental polices.
Provide specialist and administrative support to managers and staff on a range of Human Resource processes and workplace policies consistent with legislation and Australian Public Service (APS) requirements.
Resolve moderately complex and complex enquiries and provide information and advice as a representative of the work area.
Contribute in the preparation of written and verbal updates of reports to senior management on the progress of HR strategies and initiatives.
Work collaboratively with other teams across the branch to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.
Provide training and support to team members as required.
Represent People Support and more broadly People Services Branch on Recruitment matters and provide guidance where required.
Manage and build relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
Model behaviours which are inclusive, collaborative and encourage curiosity and innovation.
Demonstrate capability in line with the Integrated Leadership System at the APS 5 level.
To be successful in this role, you must meet the criteria below:
1. Previous experience in a labour hire recruitment, either in the public service or a recruitment agency
Experience in APS recruitment would be highly desired.
High level of interpersonal skills
High level of attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast paced and ever changing work environment.
