We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about their profession and has a proven track record of working with electrical systems.
The successful candidate will have experience in PLC (Allen-Bradley, or similar) and HMI programming, as well as knowledge of control systems and industrial automation. They will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance on plant and equipment, diagnosing faults in electrical circuits and PLC programs, and participating in the repairs and preventive maintenance of all site plant and equipment.
In addition to these technical skills, we are looking for someone who is able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are also essential for this role.
Below are some key responsibilities and requirements for this position:
* Carry out preventative maintenance to plant and equipment within the facility
* High level of technical and diagnostic skills including fault finding of electrical circuits and PLC programs
* Participate in the repairs and preventive maintenance of all site plant and equipment
* Conduct system testing, diagnostics, and performance evaluations to ensure proper functioning of PLC-controlled systems
* Collaborate with your team members to ensure successful project completion and continuous improvement
* Provide technical support to our manufacturing sites regarding PLC and HMI systems and troubleshooting
* Maintain and update PLC and HMI programming documentation and project files
