Mental Health & Experienced complex behaviour Support Workers required - Wollongong
Payworx Pty Ltd is seeking experienced and reliable Mental Health Support Workers to support clients in SIL home environments across the Wollongong region. We're looking for professionals who can deliver high‑quality, person‑centred support to individuals with complex mental health needs.
About the Role
You will be supporting clients with a range of mental health conditions, dementia, and complex or absconding behaviours. Duties include daily living support, behaviour management, emotional regulation assistance, and maintaining a safe, stable environment. Ongoing monthly rostered shifts are available, offering consistency and reliability for the right candidates.
Essential Requirements:
* Excellent English communication skills — strong written and verbal ability
* Minimum 2+ years proven experience in mental health support
* Ability and willingness to complete sleepover shifts(non‑negotiable)
* Experience with dementia, complex behaviours, and absconding
* Ability to write clear, accurate, and detailed shift notes/ incident reports (non‑negotiable)
* Current NSW Driver Licence
* Own reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* First Aid & CPR
* National Police Check
* Medication administration
* Strong Boundaries
* Contactable references
* Completion of required NDIS Orientation Modules, including:
* Induction Module
* Orientation Module
* Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals
* Infection Control
