Job Overview
As a compassionate and skilled nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to older adults in a residential aged care setting. Your leadership skills and ability to provide coaching and supervision will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of person-centred care.
Responsibilities
* Deliver direct clinical nursing care to residents in accordance with best practice nursing procedures.
* Act as a team leader, providing guidance and support to the personal care team to achieve high standards of care.
Requirements
* A current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification.
* Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
* Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.
* Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues.
* Strong coaching/training skills and effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Competent IT skills.
