We are looking for Road Worker's to be part of our team, undertaking planned maintenance work across the Victorian Road Maintenance Contract - Barwon South West, working closely with the Department of Transport and Planning.
Ideally you will hold a HR or HC licence (MR acceptable).
The team is open to reviewing applications from both experienced candidates and those who are interested in making a start in the industry.You will be responsible for: Tasks include vegetation control, graffiti removal, pot hole repairs & sign maintenance Mobile plant operation.
Road work construction and maintenance and safe operation near live traffic Toolbox meetings, pre-starts, risk assessments and project specific data captureOther activities include: asphalt laying physical duties such as; shovelling, raking, brooming.
We're looking for candidates who have asphalt/industry experience or a desire to learn and progress in a new industry.
Candidates will need to have: Availability to work overtime, weekends and nights when required A current vehicle licence (HR or HC licence beneficial) Construction induction card Mobile plant experience would be beneficial An interest in working outdoors, in all weather conditions.Positions are based at our Warrnambool depot.
The pre-employment process will include a medical check, including drug and alcohol screening.
