Opportunity
As our pipeline grows, we are seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our multidisciplinary water team in Adelaide. Ideally, you will have experience in design engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations and conveyance pipelines—particularly in water utility projects.
Responsibilities
Review design requirements
Conduct site investigations
Perform calculations and modelling
Oversee drafting
Prepare reports and specifications
Build strong client relationships, delivering solutions and services both on and off site. Experience with water utilities or public water authorities will be highly regarded.
Ideal Skills and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related discipline
Experience working with water utilities or public water authorities is highly desirable
Knowledge of safety in design, constructability, operational practices, and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes
Understanding of risk management and the ability to identify project and design-related risks
Experience managing small to medium engineering design projects
Commitment to working safely and within the company's HSEQ systems
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills for engaging with a broad range of audiences
Willingness to travel occasionally as required
