Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team on Ebbw Ward at Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan Hospital. The role supports nursing and therapy staff, assisting them in day‐to‐day patient care and management to ensure safe, high‐quality nursing care.
This post is currently advertised at Band 2. In the future it may progress to Band 3 with an updated job description.
Responsibilities
* Assist nursing and therapy staff with the day‐to‐day care and management of patients.
* Provide palliative, rehabilitation, elderly and general medical care support.
* Maintain excellent communication skills and support colleagues.
* Participate in training and education opportunities.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 in health and social care.
* Desirable: Ability to speak Welsh.
