The Role: As the 2IC to the L&D Manager, you will provide strong leadership to the team, establish clear and achievable goals, and oversee the identification, design, and implementation of learning and development initiatives aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing strong operational leadership, driving smooth, efficient L&D service delivery Delegating tasks aligned to team strengths and workload Managing performance and providing clear reporting and progress tracking Motivating and inspiring teams to achieve goals Identifying training needs and providing targeted coaching Building a positive, supportive, collaborative work culture Designing and curating program content with SMEs Overseeing diverse training solutions: eLearning, workshops, blended learning, leadership programs Aligning employee training with business unit priorities Facilitating engaging, effective training sessions Researching industry policy trends and recommending improvements for training opportunities Ensuring compliance through ongoing reporting and analysis of L&D activities Skills & Qualifications: Facilitation and training experience Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or TAE40122, or a higher qualification in training and assessment or Human Resources or similar Certification in Management and/or Leadership You are a proficient computer operator, experienced with Microsoft Office Applications (Intermediate / Advanced level). Knowledge of e-learning tools i.e. Articulate, Camtasia or Snagit, and the VET sector will be highly regarded.
