The Opportunity Reporting to the Collections Manager, this role is responsible for leading and developing a multi-site commercial collections team of approximately ten staff.
The position combines hands-on leadership with operational oversight, coaching and stakeholder engagement, and plays a key role in driving performance while supporting fair and sustainable customer outcomes.
Your duties will include: Leading, motivating and developing a geographically dispersed collections team Driving achievement of commercial collections targets through strong operational discipline and coaching Providing clear direction on priorities, performance expectations and standards Acting as an escalation point for complex files, disputes and customer matters Monitoring portfolio performance, arrears movement and quality outcomes Fostering a high-performing, accountable culture aligned with customer and business expectations Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to broader collections strategy You You are an experienced people leader with a proven ability to coach, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
You bring strong leadership capability and are comfortable driving performance while maintaining fair, customer-focused outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in the following areas and possess the following qualities: A minimum of 2 years' proven experience in a leadership role with direct people management responsibility, within commercial asset finance Strong capability in coaching, performance management and capability development Exposure to multi-site or remote team leadership (highly regarded) Sound understanding of arrears management, dispute resolution and related recovery principles Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills Analytical and commercially minded, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends How to Apply If you're an experienced collections leader ready to step into a visible, hands-on role within a growing financial services organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
