The Manager Operations Compliance will play a key role is ensuring that the civil aviation regulatory framework is monitored and all operational approvals and exemptions relied upon within Qantas Airways and Express Freighters adhere to Australian aviation legislation. In this role, you will also play a key role in influencing and partnering with stakeholders across the business to effectively manage regulatory and internal compliance obligations, while ensuring that safety related risks are mitigated.
You'll have
- Prior experience in an operational or compliance position within aviation
- Prior experience in managing a compliance program
- Experience in facilitating risk assessments and managing change activities
- Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvements as related to policies, processes and systems as to deliver improved compliance and safety outcomes
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication approaches, including a confidence to engage, debate and facilitate stakeholder meetings
- A flexible and can-do attitude, with the ability to adapt and change as needed
- A strong attention to detail to ensure quality outcomes
- Bachelor of Aviation, Safety or a related field is highly advantageous
