Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients.
2. Ensure medication and over-the-counter supplements inventory levels are adequate to meet patients' needs.
3. Counsel patients on new and additional medications in a friendly and professional manner.
4. Create awareness and educate customers through public relations and community events.
5. Provide timely and positive resolutions to patient needs and doctor requests/issues.
6. Review and control costs at all levels within the organization.
7. Provide ongoing training for all new and existing pharmacy colleagues.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license.
2. Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism.
3. Excellent leadership and performance management skills.
4. Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans.
7. Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of relevant software systems.
