About the Role

">
* As a Sprinkler Fitter Trainer & Assessor, you will play a crucial part in delivering face-to-face training and assessment for Certificate III in Fire Protection (CPC32820) and post-trade programs. Your primary responsibility will be to create a safe, supportive learning environment that aligns with current industry standards and contemporary practices.
* You will demonstrate, coach, and mentor sprinkler fitter apprentices throughout their 3–4 year apprenticeships, ensuring they actively participate and progress throughout the program.
* Your tasks will also include conducting theoretical and practical assessments, providing constructive feedback in a timely manner.
* In addition, you will assist with day-to-day activities that support the smooth running of the facility, including maintaining and upgrading industry qualifications to meet all RTO and licensing requirements.
* Finally, you will contribute to a collaborative, innovative training team by sharing your fire protection expertise and participating in ongoing professional development.

What We're Looking For

* We are seeking candidates with a minimum of five (5) years' hands-on experience in the fire protection industry, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Bonus: You should have basic computer literacy, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
* A genuine passion for the Fire Protection Industry and a desire to inspire the next generation of Sprinkler Fitters is essential.
* Finding and succeeding as a team player, ready to collaborate with fellow trainers and support staff, is necessary.
* A valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one would be advantageous.
