The purpose of this role is to supervise production operations within Linen Services, coordinating workflows, resources and staff to ensure safe, efficient and high‐quality laundry services that meet customer requirements across Queensland Health.
What you'll do
In this role you will supervise daily production workflows and operational staff, allocate resources to meet production targets and changing service demands, coordinate staff duties and workloads, support performance management and staff development activities, oversee the operation of commercial laundry equipment, monitor stock and consumable levels, ensure compliance with healthcare linen standards and workplace safety requirements, respond to customer enquiries and service issues, undertake production administration activities, and provide operational leadership support to the Production Manager when required.
About you
* Has experience supervising teams within production, manufacturing, laundry, logistics or operational environments
* Can effectively coordinate resources and respond to changing production demands
* Has experience operating or overseeing automated and industrial equipment
* Has strong leadership, communication and people management skills
* Can build positive relationships with stakeholders and operational teams
* Is proficient in Microsoft Office applications and administrative processes
