Compass Group is a world leader in catering and support services. ESS is the market leading support services division of Compass Group, partnering with major companies throughout the resources sectors. We are looking for an experience Rostering Coordinator, to join our Support Services Team.
**The Position**
Based in our Cannon Hill office, this position is key in helping our sites operate efficiently. Working as the key liaison between our internal recruitment team, external recruitment agencies, and our site based operations, you will provide critical workforce scheduling assistance. You will focus on the following responsibilities;
- Organise and assign shifts to casual employees from the labour pools to cover vacant roles for remote mining villages
- Ensure casuals & agency personnel are holding necessary medicals and other site entry requirements
- Ensuring contingent labour pool numbers are maintained in conjunction with the wider Scheduling team
- Assist with performance management of casual pool personnel and maintain performance feedback database for all casual staff.
- Build strong working relationships within recruitment, Area Managers and site based teams
- Participate in medical invoice reconciliation process as required for the casual pool
- Assist the Onboarding Coordinator with both casual and full time onboarding
**The Person**
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, particularly Excel
- Experience with PageUp preferred but not essential
- Staffing, rostering or workforce planning experience
- Remote mining environment exposure, including FIFO/DIDO roster scenarios
- Previous experience using rostering tools (Deputy) is advantageous
- Ability to liaise with sites to understand forecast requirements
- Excellent planning, communication and time management skills
- Experience in on-boarding and administering induction processes
