Responsibilities:
In this role you will create, edit and deliver compelling multimedia assets across video, graphics, learning tools and digital channels to both promote the careers service and build student capacity to design their own career journey. You will collaborate with student and staff content creators and subject matter experts, turning ideas into learning experiences and digital content that empowers students and drives connection with the Careers service.
What you will deliver:
* Produce compelling video content that tells authentic, human‐centred stories, capturing real experiences of students, alumni and employers.
* Design interactive learning experiences, collaborating with Careers Specialists to create engaging modules delivered via Canvas and Evolve.
* Manage end‐to‐end production workflows, from concept through to delivery.
* Maintain and organise digital assets and multimedia libraries.
* Provide practical guidance and creative direction to students and staff producing video content for the Careers Digital Service.
* Stay current on emerging trends, tools, and best practice in multimedia and digital storytelling.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in multimedia, digital/content production, instructional/learning design or a similar role.
* Demonstrated experience turning creative briefs into finished videos: including planning shoots, capturing footage and editing content for multiple channels.
* Understanding of learning design methodologies, able to apply them to deliver clear, outcomes‐focused digital learning experiences.
* Excellent time‐management skills, proactive in solving problems and comfortable managing multiple projects.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders, including seeking out and acting on feedback and iterating designs as needed.
