About the role
We are urgently recruiting a Procurement & Contract Manager for our consulting partner in Canberra. They are looking people with strong Federal Government & Defence experience who are keen to work in a consulting environment. You will work across multiple client engagements and ideally be someone who is looking to grow a long term career in this space. To be successful, you will have strong stakeholder management skills, proven procurement experience, and have NV1 clearance or above and based in Canberra.

About the role
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition out, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Drive the procurement and transition of new contracts, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to assess and address potential challenges during the transition phase
* Provide expert advice and recommendations to senior management on contract transition strategies
About you
* 5+ years experience with procurement & contract management
* High level working knowledge of defence or federal government
* Experience working on high risk & high value contracts
* Strong ability to manage stakeholders
* Ability to work on site in Canberra
* NV1 Security Clearance
