We are now looking for a 'creative' to take the reins and drive the offer and the team throughout our beautiful iconic old pub as Head Chef .
As Head Chef you will be at the forefront of delivering great, consistent and delicious food. At present we offer Asian fusion however we are up for a change if thats the way the wind blows. We also have a cafe offering that is open 5 days a week and a cooking school in the pipeline...its built just waiting for sign off.
You will manage our amazing kitchen team in a supportive and calm manner. Be a guru at food costings, and work with both the front and back of house to train, nurture and develop the team.
We are looking for someone who has:
* Head Chef or Sous Chef experience in an a busy country tourist environment
* Strong management skills, and knows how to get the best out of their team
* Someone all over their COG's and wage management
* A natural leader who can work with both front and back-of-house staff. Always working calmly, efficiently and creating a team environment - in busy and quieter times.
