Academic Community Edition Editor - _Toxicology _
**About the Role**:
We are seeking highly qualified academics to serve as Community Edition Editors for our growing publishing platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the discourse in the _Toxicology_ field, mentor emerging scholars, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge. Our editors are responsible for sourcing and overseeing the submission to publication of 5 relevant manuscripts, alongside an original editorial piece to start the community edition.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Editorial Leadership: Oversee the entire editorial process for a community edition, from soliciting submissions to final publication.
- Peer Review Management: Manage a rigorous peer review process, ensuring timely and constructive feedback, while maintaining high ethical values.
- Author Engagement: Foster a collaborative environment by providing guidance and support to authors.
- Content Quality: Maintain the highest standards of academic excellence and editorial integrity.

**Required Skills**:
- Publication Record: Proven track record of publishing in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals.
- Editorial Experience: Experience in peer review management and manuscript editing.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Time Management: Effective time management skills to balance academic responsibilities with editorial duties.
**Qualifications**:
Academic Credentials: An advanced degree in a relevant field. (PhD, MD, etc)
Multiple Languages: All applicants must speak a **minimum** of English (Professional Fluency), however additional languages are desired in our mission for a more inclusive publishing process.
