Senior Hsse Advisor
This role provides operational and technical HSSE advice and support to site teams, supervisors, and employees. It delivers initiatives that improve our culture and performance in line with the global HSSE vision and strategy.
The ideal candidate is a strong team player with excellent communication skills, highly organised, self-motivated and driven to make improvements. They will have the ability to influence and coach others, manage complex situations calmly, be flexible and possess the following qualifications/skills/experience:
* A minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety
* Undergraduate or post graduate qualification in health and safety, or a related field are preferred
* A minimum 5 years' experience in similar HSE role and within the industry (e.g., Oil & Gas, Mining, Construction, Manufacturing)
The role involves providing skills, knowledge, leadership influence and process structure to the business units for investigating incidents, accidents, risk exposures and other non-conformances. It also includes continually reviewing the HSSE Management System and its application to identify improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide skills, knowledge, advice and factual analysis to key stakeholders to assist them with implementing and complying with the HSSE management system.
* Provide skills, knowledge, leadership influence and process structure to the business units for investigating incidents, accidents, risk exposures and other non-conformances.
* Continually review the HSSE Management System and its application to identify improvement opportunities and to provide key stakeholders with advice regarding non-compliance and/or continuous improvement.
