Job Title: Practice and Community Nurse
This role is for a dedicated individual who wants to make a meaningful impact in the health and wellbeing of our Indigenous community.
The Practice & Community Nurse will deliver high-quality clinical care and comprehensive primary health services that are culturally respectful and tailored to the unique needs of the community.
The position involves not only addressing immediate health concerns through effective treatments and preventative measures but also fostering an environment of trust and understanding by integrating cultural beliefs and practices into patient care.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the principles of Aboriginal community-controlled health services and the concept of comprehensive primary health care.
You should have an understanding of, and sensitivity to, the social, economic, and cultural factors affecting the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Key Responsibilities:

* Engage in health education and build collaborative relationships to support the community's overall health and wellness.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor of Nursing degree
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency
* Immunisation Endorsement (or prepared to obtain)
* Minimum of 12 months post-graduation experience within a hospital or primary health care setting
* Holding an Open C Driver's License
* Holding a Positive Blue Card
