Blaze Staffing Solutions is recruiting for a Facilities / Maintenance Technician to join a global food manufacturing company in Melbourne’s South East. This role is primarily focused on operating and maintaining the site’s Trade Waste Treatment Plant, ensuring environmental compliance and the reliable operation of wastewater systems and site utilities. Candidates must have hands-on experience with wastewater or trade waste treatment systems within a food or process manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain the Trade Waste Treatment Plant Conduct daily testing, sampling and environmental compliance checks Troubleshoot pumps, tanks, dosing systems and treatment equipment Support site utilities including boilers, compressors, chillers and HVAC Assist with preventative maintenance and breakdown response Requirements Experience with Trade Waste / Wastewater Treatment Plants (essential) Background in food, beverage, pharmaceutical or process manufacturing Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter trade highly regarded Strong troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience The Role Permanent full-time position $52.26 per hour Super (Enterprise Agreement) Work with a globally recognised manufacturer Apply now or contact Blaze Staffing Solutions on 1300 008 005 for more information.
