Offer description

We are seeking an experienced Aquatic Operations Manager to lead our team at a premier aquatic facility. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities.


About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, training, and direction to permanent and casual staff. Key responsibilities include:

* Providing ongoing training and support to ensure high standards across all areas of the facility
* Assisting with maintenance management and ensuring optimal pool and plant room operations
* Staff management and development, including recruitment, induction, and performance management
* Program management and coordination, including event planning and execution
* Planning and administrative requirements, including budgeting and financial management

We require someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills who can build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Relevant industry experience, particularly in aquatic facility management, is essential. A reputation for strategic thinking and problem-solving, along with excellent computer skills and Microsoft Office expertise, would be highly valued.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* CPR HLTAID009 certification
* Provide First Aid HLTAID011 certification
* Aquatic Technical Operator certification
* Poll Lifeguard Licence
