About Oakey Health Centre
Oakey Health Centre is located at the Army Aviation Centre (AAC) 3km outside Oakey. It is the training area for Australian Army Aviation and is home to the 126 Squadron (Cougar helicopters) of the Republic of Singapore Air Force. With approximately 500 members, the health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, pharmaceutical and mental health services. It is also an emergency response to AAC. Health centre staff may be required to work across Cabarlah & Oakey. The standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700-1630 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements will determine shift lengths). In this role you will be working Monday and Tuesday.
What you will do
* Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members
* Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment
* Conduct fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care
* Provide medical advice to Defence health leadership
What you bring
* Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
* FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration
* Minimum two years’ GP experience in the last five years
* Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
* Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
* Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
