About the Role
As our next forklift operator, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of Pallets and produce bins around our packing facility. You will work with our new and near- new fleet of 7 Toyota Forklifts in our state of art packing facility. You will work with our team to ensure our business goals are met. We are an inclusive, diverse, and friendly business with a constant strive to improve and achieve more. To be a successful applicant, it is imperative to demonstrate experience operating Forklifts in a similar environment and/or warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:
* Loading and unloading pallets and other items from transport trailers and trucks.
* Transfer raw and packed products as directed by supervisor.
* Prepare products for dispatch.
* Conduct daily safety inspections on Forklifts.
* Adherence to workplace health and safety guidelines.
* Report any incident and hazards identified.
* Be able to assist with other tasks in the packing facility.
To be considered for this role you will have:
* Current forklift licence.
* Driver Licence.
* Demonstrated forklift experience.
* Strong safety culture.
* High attention to detail.
* Ability to work unsupervised.
* Availability to work Saturdays.
