Procurement Specialist Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team. This pivotal role will involve managing procurement activities that support production schedules and engineering requirements for our products.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation and supplier evaluation skills, as well as a strong understanding of quality standards and goods inspection processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Raise accurate and timely purchase orders based on BOMs, inventory, and production requirements
* Manage supply chain logistics, including international shipping and documentation
* Collaborate with the finance department on cost tracking, stocktakes, and document control
* Resolve discrepancies and ensure prompt supplier payments
* Prepare procurement strategies, tenders, and contracts
* Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost savings and performance improvements
* Monitor inventory and implement stock control measures
* Lead supplier performance reviews and corrective actions

About You:
