About Tritium
Tritium builds advanced DC fast chargers used by fleets and public networks worldwide. We are product focused and hands on, developing next generation chargers in our Brisbane Engineering Development and Test Centre. If you like practical problem solving and working with engineers to turn prototypes into working kit, this role is for you.
Role snapshot
You will run warehouse operations and manage logistics for prototype and test projects while providing practical, hands on support for mechanical and electrical testing. Your work keeps projects moving on time and ensures engineers have the parts and test equipment they need to iterate quickly.
Key responsibilities
Warehouse and logistics
• Manage stock levels, ordering, receiving, packing, dispatch and distribution of parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in NetSuite and support stocktakes and audits.
• Organise project-specific logistics including booking, (international) shipping and tracking of parts, prototypes and certification samples.
• Operate material handling equipment, including forklift, safely and efficiently.
• Keep the warehouse organised, clean and compliant with WHS requirements.
• Set up systems in NetSuite to track test equipment identification, calibration and maintenance.
Purchasing and vendor management
• Create and monitor engineering purchase orders in NetSuite.
• Manage outsourced maintenance for test facilities.
Technical support
• Assist with mechanical, electrical and environmental testing under supervision.
• Support minor engineering tasks: assembly, preparation and modification of components for test.
• Carry out test and tag activities where qualified.
• Support build, make and test activities as required, ensuring work meets safety and quality standards.
General duties
• Follow all WHS policies and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Carry out other duties as directed by the Director of Test, Validation and Diagnostics.
Skills and experience
Essential
• Demonstrated experience in warehouse or storeperson roles, including stock control and logistics.
• Strong practical skills with the ability to support assembly, build and testing tasks.
• Current forklift licence.
• Basic electrical knowledge and a willingness to learn testing and minor engineering work.
• High attention to detail, accuracy and a strong safety focus.
• Ability to work effectively with engineers and technicians in a fast paced environment.
Desirable
• Electrical trade qualification or equivalent.
• Test and Tag certification.
• Experience assisting with electronics, manufacturing or engineering tasks.
• Competence with NetSuite or similar ERP/inventory management systems.
Why this role matters
You will be the backbone of prototype and test activity. When parts arrive late or test kit is missing, projects stall. Your organisation and hands on support directly enable engineers to iterate faster and ship better products.
