Job description
We are seeking a school-based psychologist to join our team, who will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of students, parents, and school communities.
Key responsibilities
* Provide individual and group counselling to students, parents, and families to address personal and relational concerns.
* Conduct psycho-educational assessments to identify and support students with learning or adjustment difficulties.
* Offer professional advice on diagnoses and monitoring student progress.
* Liaise with external professionals and community organisations to ensure coordinated support services.
Required skills and qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience in counselling and therapeutic interventions for children and families.
* Knowledge of psycho-educational assessments and monitoring student progress.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with school staff and external professionals.
* Ability to support schools in responding to critical incidents and emergencies.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining registration standards.
