As an Estimator, you will work in an established division and play a key role in preparing tenders and bids for projects of all sizes, design, customer support, and technical projects for both commercial and residential projects.Responsibilities:Analyzing drawings, plans, and documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.Designing switchboards based on client specifications, adhering to AS/NZS 61439.2: 2016 for Low-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies.Creating standard switchboard drawings, including general arrangements, single line diagrams, and bills of materials using AutoCAD and other design tools.Compiling and submitting tenders accurately and in alignment with customer and company requirements.Producing technical documentation such as construction drawings, material take-offs, product data sheets, and other essential documents.Offering exceptional customer support and working closely with the sales team to achieve successful project outcomes.Providing guidance and support to the project delivery team, ensuring smooth execution of designs into production.Education & Qualifications required:Certifications in Electrical Design are mandatory.A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.About you:A genuine team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously while managing multiple projects.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly in fast-paced situations.Proven experience designing Main Distribution Systems and Switchboards.Strong understanding of Australian electrical standards and Service & Installation Rules for various states.Proficient in using design tools such as AutoCAD and related software.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external clients.A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong background in switchboard design and tendering.Full Australian working rights.If this sounds like you, please apply directly for immediate consideration.
