PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As a Technician at RV World Wodonga, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers hit the road safely and confidently.
You will work with a wide range of new and used caravans, performing servicing, repairs and custom fit-outs.
We are particularly seeking applicants with experience in plumbing, gas fitting, refrigeration, or appliance servicing
, as these skills are essential to modern caravan systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Servicing, repairing, installing and diagnosing faults in caravans and motorhomes.
Plumbing & Gas Systems:
Install, repair and troubleshoot caravan plumbing, hot water systems, gas appliances, gas lines, regulators and compliance requirements.
Refrigeration:
Service, repair and diagnose 3-way fridges, 12V compressor fridges, cooling units and ventilation systems.
Repairs: Complete interior and exterior caravan repairs as required.
Troubleshooting: Identify faults in heating, water, gas, electrical and appliance systems.
Pre-delivery Inspections: Ensure caravans are safe, compliant and ready for customer collection.
Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
Ensure Job Cards and time allocations are met.
Meet with customers to understand issues and provide practical solutions.
Maintain clear and accurate service records, repair logs and compliance documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in plumbing, gas fitting, refrigeration or related trades.
Trade licences or qualifications (where applicable) highly desirable:
Gas Fitting / Type A appliance servicing
Plumbing experience (hot/cold water systems)
Refrigeration handling or appliance repair
Experience in caravans or motorhomes is advantageous but not essential.
Backgrounds in boat building, construction, appliance installation or similar trades are also considered.
