National Sales Manager

We're partnering with a globally recognised player in the animal pharmaceutical space, supporting professionals who care for animals—and the many industries that rely on them. They're now looking for a National Sales Manager to lead from the front—bringing structure, energy, and commercial focus to a well-established, evolving sales function. This role reports directly into the executive team, with high visibility and influence across the business.
What you'll own
* Lead, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed sales team
* Set and execute a clear national growth strategy
* Drive performance across diverse and evolving customer channels
* Strengthen key relationships with national retailers, clinics, distributors, and industry stakeholders
* Build discipline, cadence, and accountability across the sales function
* Partner with regional and global leadership to align strategy and execution
What we're looking for
* Tertiary qualification in Science, Marketing, or Business (preferred)
* 7–10+ years' relevant leadership experience, including at least 3 years managing a sales team
* Exposure to animal health, pharmaceuticals, agribusiness, or a related sector welcomed
* Experience operating across multiple industry markets highly regarded
* Proven track record of driving revenue growth and improving team performance
* Strong strategic agility—able to pivot commercial direction in response to market shifts
* Results-driven, with a clear focus on execution and delivery
* Highly effective communicator, able to influence at all levels
* Builds strong relationships and fosters open, productive dialogue
* Commercially sharp, able to operate both strategically and hands‐on
* Confident working within a global, matrixed environment
* High energy, credible, and grounded—no theatrics needed
